MDXSU Student Voice Conference and AGM 2014-15

Want to have a say about YOUR union? All members of the Students’ Union are invited to attend the Annual General Meeting (AGM) (if you are a registered Middlesex student, you are a member of the Students’ Union), this is your chance to have a direct say on the direction of Middlesex Students’ Union.

This is the most important meeting of the year for your Students' Union- All Middlesex students are welcome to come and see student-led democracy in action!

Registration starts at 3:30pm, meeting begins at 4pm.

So What’s it all About?

The Board of Trustees submits a statement of accounts & financial report so you will be able to see exactly what has been happening at your union since July 2014. As well as this, we want you to make sure that the Elected Officers (that’s the President, Voice Presidents and School Voice Leaders) are sticking to their objectives and keeping to those promises made all those months ago. They each will be giving short speeches about what they have worked on this year and their plans for the future and you will have the opportunity to ask questions. Any student will also be able to present an idea for change and Student Voice Leaders will vote on them. If passed this idea will be become policy. You the deadline to submit an idea for change is Monday 13 April email studentvoice@mdx.ac.uk.

Also Student Voice Leaders that have registered will be receiving an certificate of recognition for the volunteer work they have done this year.

The AGM is an integral part of Middlesex Students’ Union and a quick and easy way to get involved with your Students’ Union. Looking forward to seeing you there!
